For the next several months, we’ll be talking to our vecinos to conduct a community needs assessment.

We’ll be asking you—our neighbors, parents, students, business owners, and workers—about your experiences and how you envision the future of the ward. 

We’ll also be talking to local institutions and organizations about these questions. And soon, we’re launching a youth version too, to understand the needs and dreams of young people in our ward. 

Your participation is important so that all voices are heard—to bring the community closer—and to transform how decisions get made about our future. 

Be a part of this year’s 12th ForWARD Talks by filling out the survey, volunteering, attending a listening session, and spreading the word. 

Listening Sessions

We will visit 6 different areas in the 12th Ward to conduct Listening Sessions. All meetings are open to 12th Ward neighbors, and we encourage you to join the listening session closest to you for a conversation about your experiences in your neighborhood.
